The best Sake(Japanese Alcohol), Gensui(元帥)

There is Japanese alcohol shop, ‘Gensui’, in Akagawara, Kurayoshi, Tottori.

Gensui is notable for high quality all over Japan.

I recommend you Gensui if you like liquor (Sake).

They have started to a business since 1850s, making Sake is over one hundred sixty years old.

Gensui boasts a long history and a deep-rooted tradition.

There is ‘Fukuro-kuju(福禄寿)’god among the 7Gods in front of Gensui shop.

This god indicates goodness, long life, wealth and honor and characteristic of long hair, white beard.

Can you see something circular in shape?

That means we made new Sake this year.

This is inside of the shop.

Here is the main shop and making Sake another place around the main shop.

They decorated a process of manufacture including plaques and trophy that was presented by competitions.

Great!

These are very good as a gift.

I want to present a gift to someone.

The bottle is very cute!

Size is small and design is Japanese style.

There are many prizes in the shop.

Gensui won the first prize in 1999, 2002, 2003, 2009 and an excellence award in 2001, 2005 in Japan Sake competition.

Also they took first place in Tottori Sake competition last year.

Lately Gensui got the first prize in the competition ‘Japanese Sake of America’ in Honolulu, Hawai.
