The second rank in Japan, Tottori Gyukotsu Ramen


Class-B gourmet’ is sweeping over the Japanese Islands.

Class-B gourmet is one of the kinds of food.

It depends on standard of people but the foods are a high priority quantity before quality by reasonable ingredients.

They are all dishes that we can enjoy it inexpensively.
That’s why it is ‘class-B’ not A.
‘Class-B gourmet’ is popular among the gourmets because of the recession.





























Energized by ‘Class-B gourmet’ increasing popularity, ‘B-1 Grand’ was held every year since 2006.

-Local ‘Class-B gourmet’-
Local ‘Class-B gourmet’ is foods with intent to increase sales of ingredients that is cultivated or produced in the local area.

There are many local foods in Japan.


What kind of Class-B gourmet does it have?

That applies to popular Japanese foods, like Yaki-soba, Ramen, Udon, Soba etc.
Ramen and Yaki-soba is the most popular Class-B gourmet among others.
Yaki-soba won the first and second B-1 Grand.
(Fujinomiya Yaki-soba of Shizuoka Prefecture won for first place a second year.)


Many people came form miles to taste the foods.

















Shizuoka Prefecture began selling Fujinomiya Yaki-soba.

Japanese love Class-B gourmet so much!! :)

TV program, ‘SUPER SURPRISE’ chose ‘the latest local class-B gourmet best 50’.
Competition for Best 50 local class-B gourmet was quite keen.

I want to introduce best 5 foods to be picked by SUPER SURPRISE.



No.1 : TokuShima Ramen(億島ラーメン)
























This Ramen is hot with slightly salty and not overpowering garlic flavor.
It is not greasy so Tokushima Ramen restaurant is very popular in Japan.

It looks pretty thick soup.



No.2 : Tottori Gyukotsu Ramen(鳥取牛骨ラーメン)


Tottori Gyukotsu Ramen is selected as No.2.

I live in Tottori, so happy-! :)

The soup of this ramen is made a beef leg bone.





Gyukotsu soup is lighter than Dokotsu that is made a pork leg bone.

Class-B gourmet will be held in Enchoen, Kurayoshi next weekend.

I will visit there and would like to eat Gyukotsu Ramen again.

Gyukotsu Ramen is getting famous so a lot of people visit Tottori.




No.3 : Hokkaido Obihiro Buta-don(北海道 帯広豚丼)
           
      *Buta-don: the food pork put on the rice



















Buta-don is a thing that Obihiro of Hokkaido is famous for.

A lot of pork on the rice looks very appetizing.



No.4 : Nagoya Daifuku Chyaduke(名古屋 大福茶漬け)










































Chyaduke is the typical food that Japanese pour tea and put on dried laver, Japanese pickles or salted fish on the rice.

Daifuku is like rice cake.

And glutinous rice and Tsukune that made chicken and vegetable are in the Daifuku Chyaduke.

Daifuku Chyaduke is a food to eat between meals.


No.5 : Saga Shishirian rice (佐賀県 シシリアンライス)


















Shishirian rice of Saga Prefecture took the No.5 ranking.

*Recipe
 : Put vegetables like tomato, cucumber, lettuce, onion and hot meats on the rice.
And then dress with mayonnaise.

They are simple to make so Saga Prefecture people like to eat it at home.

I will order foods on the internet because the foods are getting popular.

And I hope a lot of people visit Tottori by Gyukotsu Ramen.

Because Japanese like to wait in line for delicious foods by riding the train and taking the flying and the bus at night even!
