Monster Town of Tottori, Japan (2)

There are many special foods in Mizuki Shigeru road.
The best special thing is Medama-Oyazi rice cake! :)

When I saw that picture at a distance, I didn’t know that what it is.
So I came closer..

Put Medama-Oyazi(eyeball man) rice cake on Kaki-koori that is ice flakes with syrup.
Wow~!!

They say that is the most special souvenir in Mizuki-Shigeru road.
That make sense~!!
Pour syrup and put rice cake on the ice flakes

That is quite expensive.
They are six for 2100yen and five for 1750yen.

It is inside of eyeball.
That is Japanese traditional cookie.
It contains adzuki beans and chestnut.
The expiration date is 6 days that is stored at room temperature.

And then this picture!
She poses with beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
If you get more eyeball rice cake, you can take higher level.

There are many interesting signs in Japan.
They make the best of regional characteristics and know how to maximize their products efficiency.
Lots of signs of shop are arranged very unique.

Here’s background of sticker picture is GeGeGe-no-Kitaro.
That is enormous tourism commercialization.
It is ‘Monster Paradise’ from here.

Go inside, you will feel like come to old town.
It is made small town that is the background to the monster story.

The characters are cute! Not scared! :)

Monster Paradise’s table is unusual as well.
When you eat something you feel scared.

Then here’s souvenir shop.
It is a little expensive but there are many good souvenirs.
Monster Paradise left you with unforgettable memories.
It was very hot that day.
There were ice flakes with syrup shop, I went to there!
Milk ice shaves and drizzle the topping on the ice.
The price is 500yen.

It is unique!
It melted in the mouth.

Very popular program, Kin-suma in Japan!
On Kin-suma, they sold their ice by using car for one year.
Then they donated proceeds to charity for Nigata earthquake victim.

Say goodbye to Nezumi-Otoko.
I have never seen GeGeGe-no Kitaro so I don’t know well the characters.
But I had a great time with monsters! :)
