It is held for two days on August originally.
But ShanShan festival was held for ten days on August this year.
Main event, traditional umbrella dance, took place on August 16.

The total number of participants was around 4,000!
Can you imagine what it was like?

Tottori was hot from ardor of participants and the audience.
I photographed festival scenes.

Japanese traditional umbrella dance of children started it first.

The weather is very hot so they have time to relax.
Parents are seeing with water for their kids.
Children danced hard~!

There is the Tana-bata. (July 7th in the lunar calendar)
On that day, they decorated that your wish is written on colorful papers.

I can tell for sure by words in Hiragana that is an elementary school student.
I hope I have many friends!
I wish he or she was fulfilled.

There is Kingyosukui game that you catch a fish.
Some boy was playing it.
But paper tears!
